10 Best Spells In Sims 4 Realm of Magic Ranked
The Sims 4 Realm of Magic offers a large amount of magic for spellcasters to master. Here we rank the very best spells you can learn. If you maximize your in then the possibilities are incredible. Each of the three schools of magic; untamed, mischief and practical, have spells to be learned and there are also over a dozen potions to brew. It can be difficult to know where to start but don't worry we can help. We extensively tested all the spells in each school of magic to see which ones are the best. It can be difficult to compare directly so we've taken into account both how useful each spell is as well as how much fun it is to cast. Before we get into the list we also want to give a special mention to delicioso, the spell which produces food on command. This spell just missed out due to the fact that you can gain the same ability by eating large amounts of grilled cheese. Now on to the spells that did make the cut, ranked. THEGAMER VIDEO OF THE DAY Duplicato - Untamed
This spell had to make the list just because of the insanity of it but in practical terms, it isn't very useful, hence its place at the bottom. Duplicato is a spell that duplicates and what it duplicates is the spellcaster themselves. If you cast this you'll acquire an evil clone that will wander around making a nuisance of themselves. Watch out though as clones are also feisty and prone to fights. If you love unpredictability and randomness cast this and keep an eye on that clone. Minionize - Untamed
This spell allows you to take control of other sims for a minimum of four sim hours. A successful cast when charged will extend this to eight. Our favorite part of this spell is that you can get any other sim to cook for you or clean your house, no matter who they are. Want Eliza Pancakes as a maid? You've got it. Need Judith Ward to clean your bathroom? Done. The possibilities are endless and it's much more enjoyable than casting the spell to clean things yourself. Burgliate - Mischief
If you have a kleptomaniac sim then this spell is a must. With the right perks, you can swipe things from a distance straight into your inventory, minimizing your chances of getting caught. If you are charged when you make the successful cast you can also gain some extra simoleons for your trouble. What's not to love? Unless you're a good and honest sim who would never dream of "borrowing" things you'll want to use this spell for a little income boost. Transportalate - Practical
For those who love a broom but want live to be faster and more efficient transportalate is one of the most useful spells in your arsenal. It will instantly transport you to anywhere, including directly to the magic realm. You can also use it as your default mode of transportation, meaning you can quickly and easily pop to your destination with one single click and all without having to learn yoga. However, the fact yoga grants similar powers lowers this spell's ranking slightly. Inferniate - Untamed
For those who love to create chaos, a type of simmer that magic naturally appeals to, inferniate is one of the most chaotic spells around. Cast this at an object to set it on fire and then sit back and watch the world burn. If you are fast enough you can set a number of things alight and watch the flames merge as chaos ensues. You can even set sims on fire, although they won't burn long enough to expire. Charged casts can add extra fuel to the inferno. Morphiate - Mischief
If you've ever wondered how much fun it is to turn sims into objects we can tell you that the answer is a lot. The objects sims turn into are random and include cacti, gnomes, and other decor items. Sims will stay as the object for either two or four sim hours, depending on your charge status when casting. After that time they pop back to normal and become very confused. Casting this multiple times in a crowded place to see how many sims you can transform before the first one turns back is a great spellcasting challenge. Copypasto - Practical
Why have one thing when you can have two? The excellently named copypasto spell allows you to take anything at all and duplicate it. The power of this is incredible as you can double up on food, crafted items and more. There is also no limit, except the charge and curse system, meaning you can fill a room with food, drink that perfect potion and keep a copy for next time, and so much more. If you have a retail business on the side then your inventory is about to get a huge boost. Repario - Practical
This incredibly practical spell is a must for anyone who loves to craft. Not only can it instantly repair broken items in your household but it also bumps up the quality of unbroken ones. The quality upgrade not only includes things like furniture, helping save the lives of all those sims with Murphy Beds, but it also upgrades the quality of crafted items including potions. This means less chance of your alchemy experiments backfiring and leaving you cursed when drunk. While it may be a practical and boring sounding spell, its many uses boost its ranking. Decursify - Untamed
If you get curses from casting all the other spells then decursify should be a top priority. Curses can be really nasty, especially if the night wraith shows up, so make sure you protect yourself with this spell. The high ranking is because being able to quickly and easily remove curses means that you can cast other spells far more freely, removing one of the main downsides of excessive magic use. The only thing to be aware of is that it has a 24-hour cooldown, reduced to 8 if cast when charged. Luckily potions offer a great backup for especially overenthusiastic casters. Dedeathify - Untamed
You can use this on a ghost in your household or one summoned with the necrocall spell. A successful cast will be better than any ambrosia. If you have multiple spellcasters in your household it also leads to a magnificent trick. If a spellcaster dies of overcharge they then become immune to its effects. This means that if their ghost is brought back to life, then the reanimated caster cannot die from overcharge again. They are now free to ride out that powerful overcharge boost and become an incredibly powerful spellcaster, hence the spell's ranking here at the top of the chart.
