Nintendo has announced the Nintendo Switch Online service will finally launch on September 18th, 2018, giving members access to online play. After months of speculation, Nintendo has finally announced the official release date for the Nintendo Switch Online service. They had previously stated that it was coming in the second half of September, and we now know the exact date is the 18th of September, 2018. This announcement was made on Twitter, with the being updated to reflect the new information. The Nintendo Switch Online service will also come with a 7-day free trial once it launches. The paid online service for the Nintendo Switch was first announced when the console was unveiled to the public for the first time.
